OPERATION BACK TO SCHOOL

For a moment imagine you are a carpenter and show up on the job site with only a pencil and a hammer. You’re told to start framing a house — no nails, no saw, no square, no level.  How can anyone expect you to do your job without the right materials?

At the start of every school year, thousands of children throughout the Pikes Peak region are asked to do just that. To start school without the tools and supplies to frame their house, the ones they will live in for the rest of their lives–education.

We need your help to ensure that these children have the tools to successfully build their future

What is Operation Back to School?

Operation Back to School provides basic school supplies to families in need, giving their children an opportunity for success based on ability rather than economic advantage. In 2019, Christmas Unlimited distributed sets of school supplies to more than 2,366 children in El Paso and Teller counties.

How to Receive School Supplies

This year we will not be sending out applications for clients to fill out as we have done in the past. Instead, we will be working directly with the schools/school districts. The supplies will be delivered to the schools, and there they will be distributed to the needy children at their respective locations. Parents, if you are in need of school supplies, please reach our to your child’s school directly.
